We are happy to announce that The Down Town Club is now
being managed and operated by the
Cescaphe Event Group team.
We pride ourselves on our mission to create once-in-a-lifetime, distinctive events with genuine care & passion... treating our guests
like family as we exceed their expectations.
Designed in 1921 in the Georgian Revival Style, The Down Town Club exudes the energy of the Industrial Revolution: An age of modernization and luxury. Upon acquiring the space in January of 2013, Cescaphe Event Group renovated the venue to capture the innovation and opulence of that time. Our goal was to mimic Philadelphia's own blended skyline of modern design and colonial styling. The result is a juxtaposition between the history of Old City, Philadelphia and contemporary flare. Just as the cobblestone streets lie before glass paneled skyscrapers around our city, the classic architecture of the space is peppered with an avant-garde array of chic amenities. Original inlaid marble floors and hand-carved wood moldings are paired with sleek, minimal furnishings. As guests enjoy the panoramic views of the city and the elegantly appointed lounges, they feel chic in this stylish venue that embraces the depth and history of a space nearly a century old.
As with our four other venues, The Down Town Club
wedding menu offers guests an over the top cocktail hour of seafood, fresh traditional antipasti, endless passed specialty hors d'oeuvres and chef attended stations followed by an elegant seated dinner service. Cescaphe's own passionate and dedicated team of chefs prepare all items, as always, being attentive to detail and quality. The entire team prides itself on our mission to create once-in-a-lifetime, distinctive events with genuine care and passion... treating our guests like family as we exceed their expectations.

The award-winning wedding menu of Cescaphe Event Group has impressed brides, groom
and their very special guests since its first ever event in 2003.
Guests are in want of nothing when feasting on our signature decadent cocktail hour of endless hand-butlered hors d' oeuvres, bountiful seafood and antipasti displays and chef attended action stations preparing crabcakes and sushi.
A beautifully crafted seated dinner menu, beautifully plated and served to order, is elegantly designed to amaze even the most seasoned palate.
And, of course, it would not be a Cescaphe event without an amazing array of abundant gourmet pastries and a custom designed towering wedding cake to end a magical night...
