The Down Town Club provides a unique alternative for corporate and social events in Philadelphia. Overlooking Independence Hall and the Delaware River, the Club offers an unsurpassed view of Philadelphia history from atop the Public Ledger Building.

For 98 years, The Down Town Club was a private club for some of Philadelphia’s most prominent families. In 1995, The Club was transformed by Fera Donna, Incorporated, into a full service catering and conference center, open to the public.

Since then, the Club has been privileged to host many dignitaries and distinguished guests from around the world which include President Clinton, Supreme Court Justices, Senator John McCain, and the King and Queen of Spain, just to name a few.

The Club has six elegantly appointed meeting and dining rooms which can be used for various functions from corporate meetings to formal wedding receptions, accommodating from 10 to 500 guests. The Club boasts the timeless beauty and elegance of a by-gone era with a distinct style all its own, that many try to emulate but cannot duplicate. When you enter the Club you will experience the Grand Ballroom with its magnificent Georgian Architecture, 35 foot lofted ceiling, gleaming chandeliers and picture windows. From the Ballroom you can venture down the hall to the cozy Bar and Grill Room with its rich warm oak paneling. Each room is different with it’s own individual ambience.

The staff prides itself on offering distinctive contemporary cuisine and impeccable service to our guests. Our award winning Executive Chef Felix Maietta, C.E.C. and his skilled staff combine their culinary talents to prepare superb meals that represent the latest in Food and Beverage trends.
